Christmas gifts for teachers can be hard to figure out during the holidays. As a former public school teacher, I can honestly say some of my favorite Christmas gifts were handwritten cards from my students. It is nice to be appreciated by parents, but it is even nicer to hear kind words from the kids.
As a parent myself, I’ve always enjoyed putting together little gift baskets for my son’s teachers. I keep it simple, but try to “fancy” it up with cute gift tags.
The first part of the gift was a set of one of my favorite pens! The tag says “You just hap-PEN to be INK-credible.” I bought these particular pens from Target for about $6, but you can also find similar ones on Amazon.
I also included a fuzzy pair of socks. My son and I wanted to find some cute fuzzy Christmas socks, but we waited too long to go shopping. We found these adorable fox socks from Walmart. The package was $3 and included 3 pairs of socks! The tag says “for your mistleTOES”
While shopping at Target I found these candles that smell amazing! I couldn’t resist adding one to the basket. This one smelled just like a Christmas tree, which is one of my favorite scents! The tag says “you are SCENT-sational”
I couldn’t resist adding a Starbucks gift card. Are there any teachers who don’t like coffee? Okay, I’m sure there are. I’m also sure there are probably more teachers who would absolutely love to treat themselves to Starbucks. This tag says “have yourself a CAFFEINATED Christmas.”
To wrap it all up, I put the items into a small basket I found at Walmart for $2. If interested, you can download all of these tags for free by clicking HERE. You can also find links to all these items by clicking HERE.
